The challenge
Explain the professions of the future — lunar station engineer, spaceship pilot, exoskeleton operator — to visitors of any age in less than a minute, with no controllers to hand out.
What Awake! delivered
The space block consists of four applications on round 800 × 800 screens: three Kinect games and the “Hello from space” photo booth. The player stands on a floor mark and steers by tilting the body; forward–backward movement is deliberately excluded so nobody gets confused. Sessions last 30–60 seconds, there are three lives and you cannot lose — everyone gets at least one star. All games run from one build; the game for each sphere and its activation zone are set in the settings panel. We shipped builds several times a day and tested them right on site.
Outcome
The games opened with the forum in November 2024. In March 2025 we reworked them and relaunched them in the Travel Gallery of the National Centre “Russia”.
